BELL STREET is proud to offer home owners our professional solar panel cleaning service throughout Warwick Valley and Orange County, New York!
When you decide to have your solar panels cleaned, its important to use de-ionized (also called DI) water that has passed through a filtration process to remove all potential contamination from the source.
Here at BELL STREET, we use a professional three stage system to purify the water. This prevents any hard water stains from appearing, which gives our customers spotless panels that operate at peak efficiency!
Rain can remove light accumulation, but wont penetrate through to remove “caked on” debris between your professional cleaning service!
At BELL STREET, we suggest solar panel cleaning be completed once or twice a year to maintain peak efficiency.
When we arrive at your home to provide service, we will complete an inspection of your panels to check for any potential cracks or damage.
We’ll then run a hose from your outdoor water tap into our three stage system to start the filtration process. This is not a pressure washing system, it uses the same pressure from the source tap. (Please note that it’s very important to NEVER use a pressure washer on solar panels!)
In the first stage, the water will run through a chloramine reducing filter to pull the largest particles out of the water.
During the second stage the water will enter an RO (reverse osmosis) chamber which will perform a crucial part of the filtration process, significantly reducing contaminates.
The third stage has the water pass through the final DI (de-ionizing) filter, leaving the water produced as “purified”, or free of contamination!
A second hose is then hooked up to the system and run through an extendable water-fed brush, which we will use to scrub and rinse the accumulation of dirt, dust, and pollen from the panel surfaces.

Price structures will vary across companies to cover different overhead costs. At BELL STREET, we believe in fair and honest upfront pricing for our customers!
A single story residence (up to 18′ per US average) will start at $10 per individual panel, with a minimum service cost of $100.
Taller structures (18′ to 40′) are priced starting at $15 per panel, and the minimum cost of service will be $150.
